Patrick Ta came out with a few new blushes a few weeks back. I picked up the Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush in the shade She’s Blushing. I love that this is a creme and powder blush. It’s like you get two blushes for the price of one.
The Sephora website says that this is “A compact with two complementary blush formulas that give you full, bold color—guaranteed to turn heads. This compact combines a pigmented, weightless powder paired with a hydrating, dewy cream designed to layer together for a bold, dimensional finish.”
Packaging Of The Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush
This blush duo is packaged in a rose gold, plastic compact. I am happy that they included a mirror. It is very lightweight and is prone to fingerprint marks. I always want to lift the top open but you have to sort of hold the bottom and pry the top open. It’s a bit confusing at first. Sometimes I still struggle with opening this compact. It has a snap closure that is very secure.
What I most love about this packaging is that they have a plastic covering the creme blush part of the duo. I really don’t like it when powder product particles get mixed up with cream products. The plastic separator ensures that the mixing does not happen. Love it!
Formula Of The Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush
Key ingredients stated on the Sephora website “Patented Biomimetic Pigments mirror the skin’s ceramide structure, ensuring adhesion, true color, and the most natural finish. Micronized Pigments provide even, flawless payoff, a luminous finish, and extended wear. Creamy Emollient Base flawlessly blends into skin, provides a dewy finish, and locks in color for extended wear.” This product is vegan, cruelty-free and also gluten-free.

The shade I am reviewing today is She’s Blushing.
The shade She’s Blushing is perfect as an everyday shade. I like to apply the powder blush first and then apply the cream blush for a dewy look. The formula is amazing and the products blend beautifully. It’s a perfect natural pinkish brown shade and is buildable. Sometimes I use just the creme side for a matte look. The powder has a slight sheen to it. It does not have shimmer but has micronized pigments that give you a glow. The cream on top of the powder will help you achieve a natural, glowy look.
I also love how the cream product comes with a plastic covering to keep the powder and cream from getting mixed. I love this beautiful, natural pink shade, that has a touch of brown. If you want a sun kissed look then She’s Blushing is your shade.
